The District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) is a government-backed organization formed to support the welfare and development of areas affected by mining operations. Funds collected from mining companies are used for education, healthcare, and social welfare projects in the respective districts.

In West Singhbhum, the DMFT focuses heavily on education enhancement, ensuring that students in rural and tribal areas receive the same learning opportunities as those in urban settings.
