Stage 1 — Online Written Examination (May 2026)
100 Questions • 100 Marks • 90 Minutes composite time • Online CBT
Three sections: (a) Stream/Category Specific Questions — 70 marks, (b) Reasoning — 15 marks, (c) Banking, Present Economic Scenario & General Awareness — 15 marks.
No negative marking for wrong answers. Qualifying marks: 50% for General/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. Conducted at 200+ pan-India exam centres. Candidates shortlisted for interview based on written exam performance. Final Call: Bank may reduce cut-off if insufficient candidates qualify.
Stage 2 — Personal Interview (June 2026)
Candidates successful in the written examination are called for Personal Interview worth 100 marks. Qualifying marks: 50% for General/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. The interview assesses domain expertise, banking awareness, communication skills, and suitability for the specialist role. Interview centre is at Bank's sole discretion — typically Mumbai (Central Office).
Final Merit & Selection
Final merit list is prepared based on Written Exam (70%) + Interview (30%). In case of equal marks by two or more candidates, the senior in age is placed higher. Selected candidates undergo document verification, medical examination (by Bank's CMO/Civil Surgeon), biometric verification, and CIC credit score check (minimum 650). Appointment is provisional until all verifications are completed satisfactorily.
The online examination will be held across 200+ cities including: Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram, Dehradun, Srinagar, and many more. Candidates select their preferred exam centre at the time of application. The Bank may add or cancel centres based on response.

Prepare Scanned Documents Before Applying
Before starting, keep ready: Passport-size photo (200×230 px, 20–50 KB), Signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB, black ink), Left thumb impression (240×240 px, 200 DPI, 20–50 KB), Handwritten declaration (800×400 px, 50–100 KB, English only, black ink). Also prepare your live webcam/mobile photo. Also keep payment card/netbanking ready.
Register & Get Provisional Registration Number
Enter basic information in the online application form. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and displayed on screen — also sent via email and SMS. Note it carefully.
Fill the Complete Application Form
Login with registration credentials. Fill all mandatory fields: personal details (name as per certificates), date of birth, category, contact details, post and stream you are applying for, educational qualification details (marks as percentage — CGPA must be converted), and complete work experience details. Select preferred exam centre. Indicate scribe requirement if applicable.
Upload Documents & Live Photo
Upload: Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, Handwritten Declaration at specified locations. Additionally, capture your live photograph via webcam or mobile (QR scan). Documents in wrong format/size will show an error. Preview after upload to verify clarity.
Pay Application Fee Online
Pay ₹850 (General/OBC/EWS) or ₹175 (SC/ST/PwBD/Women) via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, or UPI. After payment, an e-receipt is generated — download and print it. If transaction fails, login again with Provisional Registration Number and retry payment.
Click "Complete Registration" & Take Printout
Once all details are filled and payment is done, click "Complete Registration". No changes are possible after this. Take a printout of the system-generated online application form. Do NOT send this printout to the Bank — keep it for your reference and carry to interview.
