The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC), Thiruvananthapuram has published its Extra Ordinary Gazette notification dated 30 May 2026 announcing 16 posts under Category Numbers 23/2026 to 38/2026. 6. How to Apply Online — One Time Registration (OTR)

  1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) — Mandatory First Step — Before applying for any KPSC post, complete OTR at keralapsc.gov.in. OTR creates your permanent profile on the KPSC portal. Provide your name (as on SSLC), date of birth, community, educational qualifications, and contact details accurately. Upload your photograph — taken within 6 months, name and date printed at the bottom. This registration is done only once for all KPSC examinations.
  2. Log in & Apply for the Relevant Cat.No. — Existing OTR candidates: log in with your User-ID and password → go to Notifications section → find the Extra Ordinary Gazette dated 30/05/2026 → click on the relevant Cat.No. notification link → click “Apply Now.” Verify your OTR profile details before clicking Apply — ensure educational qualifications, community, date of birth, and contact information are correctly filled.
  3. Submit Application — No Fee Required — After reviewing all details, submit the application. No application fee is charged for any KPSC post. Applications cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Print your application by clicking “My Applications” in your profile. Add Aadhaar as ID Proof in your OTR profile — recommended for verification purposes.
  4. Monitor Exam Schedule & Admit Cards — After the application closes on 01 July 2026, monitor keralapsc.gov.in → Recruitment → Exam Schedule for your exam date, time, and centre. Admit cards (Hall Tickets) are downloaded from your OTR profile — no postal admit cards. All original documents must be produced at the time of certificate verification.

Police Constable Driver (Cat.30) — Special Conditions:

  • Must maintain a current valid Driving Licence throughout all stages — from application date to One Time Verification (OTV) stage.
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for running, long jump, and other physical standards will be conducted.
  • Practical Driving Test conducted by KPSC — proficiency in LMV/HPV/HGV driving must be demonstrated.
  • PwD candidates are NOT eligible for this post under any circumstances.
  • The ranked list for this post is valid for only 1 year (unlike the usual 1–3 year validity).

NCA stands for Non-Communal Appointment and E/B/T refers to three specific communities — Ezhava, Backward Hindu Nadar, and Thiyya. Cat.No.38/2026 — Security Officer Grade II in Universities in Kerala is reserved for candidates belonging to these three specified communities only.


7. What are the physical standards for Police Constable Driver (Cat.30)?

Candidates are advised from the ranked list against vacancies reported to KPSC during the currency of the list.
