Q5
What is the difference between Non-TSP and TSP area vacancies?
+
Non-TSP Area (213 posts): These are vacancies for general districts of Rajasthan outside the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) designated regions. All categories (UR, OBC, MBC, SC, ST, EWS) can apply for these posts, subject to category-wise reservation.

TSP (Scheduled/Tribal Sub-Plan) Area (46 posts): These are vacancies specifically for districts/areas designated under the Tribal Sub-Plan, which are predominantly tribal areas of Rajasthan. The TSP area vacancies primarily benefit Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates from these regions as per the TSP reservation rules of the Rajasthan government. Candidates should apply carefully based on their eligibility and domicile area.

+
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) are conducted after the written exam for candidates who qualify. As per RSSB norms for Forester posts, the PET typically includes a walking test with separate distance/time standards for male and female candidates. The PMT includes height measurement for all candidates, chest measurement for males, and weight measurement for females. Exact PET/PMT standards will be officially notified by RSSB after the written exam result is declared. Candidates should start physical fitness preparation alongside exam preparation. Both stages are qualifying — marks are not counted in the final merit.
