South East Central Railway (SECR), Raipur Division, through its Personnel Department, has officially released the provisional merit list for Document Verification for engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27. The recruitment notification (No. E/PB/R/Rectt/Act Appr./01/2026-27, dated 05 May 2026) had invited applications for 1363 posts in Raipur Division and 281 posts in Wagon Repair Shop (WRS), Raipur — a total of 1644 vacancies. The online application window closed on 04 June 2026. SECR has now drawn out the provisional merit list (equivalent to 5 times the vacancies) vide letter No. E/PB/R/RCT/Act.Appr/01/2026-27/DV dated 19 June 2026, purely based on the aggregate percentage of 10th and ITI marks as filled in the online application. Document Verification will be conducted from 09 July 2026 to 23 July 2026 at the Community Hall, behind Divisional Railway Hospital, WRS Colony, SEC Railway, Raipur, in serial-number-wise batches as per Annexure-I (DRM/R) and Annexure-II (WRS/R).
SECR Raipur Division has released the provisional merit list for Document Verification for both establishments — DRM Office, Raipur Division and Wagon Repair Shop (WRS), Raipur. The list, equivalent to 5 times the notified vacancies (DRM: 1363 → list drawn to Sl. No. 6038; WRS: 281 → list drawn to Sl. No. 707), has been prepared purely on the basis of the aggregate percentage of 10th and ITI marks as filled by candidates in their online application. The merit list is enclosed as Annexure-I (for DRM/R) and Annexure-II (for WRS/R) with the official letter on secr.indianrailways.gov.in.

⚠️ Important: Mere inclusion in the provisional list confers no right to engagement. The Railway Administration can modify, cancel, or add names due to typographical errors, and reserves the right to discharge any candidate found with wrong/fake information, even after selection.
SECR has issued the DV schedule based on candidate’s serial number in the Annexure, not by trade. All DV sessions are held at the Community Hall, behind Divisional Railway Hospital, WRS Colony, SEC Railway, Raipur between 10:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs. Report only on the date corresponding to your serial number — change of date, time, or venue will not be permitted under any circumstances.

📌 PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / EWS Candidates: SECR has not received a separate list for these categories from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Portal. Such candidates who registered within the notification period may appear on any of the scheduled DV days with all correspondence-related papers and certificates.
⏳ Stay Prepared: Candidates should be ready, if required, to stay for more than one day at their own cost from the date of their stipulated document verification — no daily/conveyance/travelling allowance will be paid.

How Merit Is Calculated
Merit Score = (Class 10 Marks % + ITI Trade Marks %) ÷ 2
No written exam or interview. Provisional list drawn at 5× the notified vacancies per establishment.
The merit list is provisional and prepared purely based on the data filled by candidates during the online application — no manual or system recalculation/conversion of marks into percentage has been done. Candidates are responsible for ensuring the correctness of the information in their hard copy application matches their original certificates, since requests for change of information once filled will not be considered at the DV stage.

Important Notes from the Official Letter

Provisional list, subject to correction
The list is prepared based on self-filled online data. The administration has the right to modify, cancel, or add names due to typographical errors.

The final merit list/offer of engagement will be issued only after document verification, subject to all certificates being found correct.

Action on wrong/fake certificates
If a candidate is found to have furnished wrong information or a fake certificate, the Railway can discharge them at any stage without notice, even after selection for training.

Under no circumstances will a change in the scheduled DV date, time, or venue be permitted.

No daily allowance, conveyance allowance, or travelling allowance will be paid to candidates called for document verification.
