3. Vacancy Details

Total Vacancies: 1,308 for the post of Veterinary Pharmacist, under the control of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Uttar Pradesh. 4. Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Technical Qualification

• Passed Intermediate (12th) examination with Science (Biology) from the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent examination recognised by the Government.
• Holds a 2-year 3-month Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from an institution or university established by law in India and recognised by the Government.
• Council registration is not currently mandatory for this post in Uttar Pradesh.

Mandatory PET 2025 Requirement

• Must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid scorecard.
• Only candidates with a positive, non-zero normalized PET-2025 score are eligible for Mains shortlisting.
• Shortlisting for the Main Exam is based on the normalized PET-2025 score, not on educational qualification alone.

Age Limit

18 to 40 years, as on 1 July 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.
