Post-wise Eligibility & Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / ICWA Inter from a recognised university.
Tally / Accounting Software certification mandatory. Proficiency in computer-based financial tools.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution.
Valid registration with Jharkhand Nursing Council or State Nursing Council is mandatory. Expired registration not accepted.
ANM certificate / OT Assistant certificate / Dresser certificate from a recognised institute as applicable to the specific post.
Registration with Jharkhand Nursing Council or Jharkhand Para Medical Council as applicable.
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
MBA / PG Diploma in Hospital Management / PG in Sociology will be given preference. Basic computer proficiency is mandatory.
General Eligibility Criteria
- BC / EBC: +2 years → maximum 37 years
- SC / ST: +5 years → maximum 40 years
- Female (General / BC / EBC): +3 years → maximum 38 years
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): +5 years in respective category
- Accountant cum Block Supervisor: 2 years in accounting or finance
- ICU Nursing Staff: 2 years in ICU or Critical Care
- ANM / OT Assistant / Dresser: 2 years in hospital or OT or dressing
- Computer Operator cum Hospital Supervisor: 3 years in hospital administration
- All posts are on contract basis only — appointment does not confer any right to permanent government employment.
- Experience certificates must be on official letterhead of the employer, signed and stamped. Informal certificates are not accepted.
- Nursing council registration must be currently valid — not expired. Verify your registration status on the Jharkhand Nursing Council portal before applying.
- Candidates already working in government service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer along with the application.
- Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be summarily rejected without any notice.

Selection Process
Application Screening
All received applications are screened by DHS Koderma for completeness and eligibility. Applications with missing documents, incorrect details, or ineligible candidates are rejected at this stage. Only complete, eligible applications move to the next stage. Ensure all documents are attached before submitting.
Shortlisting Based on Merit
Candidates are shortlisted based on educational qualification, experience relevance, and overall profile assessment. Given the small number of posts, shortlisting is competitive. Higher qualifications (e.g., M.Com over B.Com, B.Sc Nursing over GNM) and more years of relevant experience improve shortlisting chances significantly.
Written Test and / or Interview
Shortlisted candidates are called for a written test, technical skill test, or walk-in interview — or a combination, as decided by DHS Koderma. Clinical posts (ICU Nursing, ANM) may involve a practical skills assessment. The Accountant post may involve a Tally proficiency test. Interview dates and venue are communicated to shortlisted candidates via registered post or official website.
Document Verification
All original documents must be produced at the time of interview or after selection — educational certificates, experience letters, council registration, Aadhaar, caste certificate etc. Any discrepancy between the application and original documents leads to immediate disqualification, even after provisional selection.
Final Selection and Contract Issuance
A final merit list is prepared post interview and DV. Selected candidates are issued a contractual appointment letter by DHS Koderma. Candidates must report for joining within the stipulated time. The contract period and renewal conditions are as specified in the appointment letter as per Jharkhand NHM or DHS contractual norms.

Fill Application Form Carefully
Fill the application form in block letters using black or blue ink. Enter name exactly as in Matriculation certificate. Mention the post applied for clearly at the top of the application. Fill all fields — personal details, educational qualifications with percentage, experience details with duration and employer name, category, and contact details. ⚠️ Do not leave any mandatory field blank — incomplete forms are rejected.
Attach Self-Attested Document Copies
Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents. Self-attestation means signing on each page with your full name and writing "Self Attested". Arrange documents in the order listed in the notification. Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the application form in the space provided and sign across it.
Send Application via Speed Post or Submit in Person
Send the complete application form along with all documents via Speed Post or Registered Post to the address below. You can also submit it in person during office hours. ⚠️ Applications sent by ordinary post may be delayed. Always use Speed Post or Registered Post and keep the receipt.
