JKCE 2025 – Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply for JKCE 2025 if my age is exactly on the cutoff date?
Yes. If your age exactly matches the eligibility limit on the official cutoff date, you are considered eligible. Even a one-day difference beyond the cutoff will make the application invalid, so age calculation should be done carefully.
Are backlog vacancies filled along with regular vacancies?
No. Backlog vacancies are filled separately and are strictly reserved for the specific categories for which they were carried forward. Candidates from other categories cannot be considered for these posts.
Is there any relaxation in physical standards for reserved categories?
Yes. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories receive relaxation in height and chest measurements as per Jharkhand government rules. However, there is no relaxation in the running time for the physical efficiency test.
What happens if I qualify the physical test but fail document verification?
Even after clearing physical tests, a candidate can be disqualified if certificates are incorrect, incomplete, or not issued by the competent authority. Document verification is a mandatory and final stage of eligibility confirmation.
Does clearing the written exam guarantee selection in JKCE 2025?
No. Final selection depends on combined performance in physical tests, written examination, document verification, medical fitness, and availability of vacancies in the candidate’s category.
