Minimum Qualifying Marks — Category-wise
The JHTET certificate earned upon qualifying is valid for a lifetime, as per the Supreme Court's order in Civil Appeal No. 5564/2019 and the subsequent NCTE letter (No. 112852 dated 04.08.2022). This means once you qualify JHTET, you never need to appear again just to renew eligibility. However, candidates may appear any number of times if they wish to improve their score for better merit in teacher recruitment. Qualifying JHTET does NOT guarantee appointment — it only makes you eligible to appear in Jharkhand government teacher recruitment processes.
