Login with Registration Number and Date of Birth
On the admit card login page, enter your Application/Registration Number (from your application confirmation) and your Date of Birth (in the format specified — DD/MM/YYYY or as per the portal). Verify All Details Carefully Before Downloading
Once your admit card appears, carefully verify: your full name (as per application), date of birth, registration/roll number, category, exam date (19 April 2026), exam shift and reporting time, exam centre name and complete address, photograph, and signature. Any discrepancy — especially in name, category, or exam centre — must be reported to JKSSB immediately through official channels before the exam date. 📋

Download the admit card PDF and save it on your phone/laptop. Print at least 2–3 clear A4-size copies — carry one to the exam, keep others at home. The admit card must show your photograph clearly. Date: 19 April 2026. The written exam is the first and most critical stage. 80 objective MCQs covering General English, General Awareness (J&K focus), Numerical Aptitude & Reasoning, and Basic Computer Applications. Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer. OMR-based offline mode — candidates must shade answers on the OMR sheet with a ball pen. The written exam score forms the basis of shortlisting for the Skill Test. JKSSB usually releases a provisional answer key within 24 hours of the exam for candidates to cross-check their performance.
🔴 Exam: 19 April 2026Typing Skill Test (Computer-Based) — Qualifying Stage
Candidates who qualify the written exam are shortlisted for the Computer-based Typing/Skill Test. The minimum required typing speed is 35 words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy. This is a qualifying stage — candidates must achieve the required WPM to proceed. The Skill Test is conducted on a computer keyboard. Practice English typing regularly on standard software to ensure your speed and accuracy consistently exceed 35 WPM well before the test date. JKSSB has historically used 35 WPM as the standard.
⏳ After Written ResultDocument Verification (DV) — Final Stage Before Appointment
Candidates who clear both the written exam and typing test are called for Document Verification. Originals of all educational certificates, domicile certificate, age proof, category certificate (if applicable), and other documents specified in the notification are verified by JKSSB officials. Final selection is based on merit in the written exam. All appointments are made to the allocated J&K UT government departments as per vacancy availability and candidate preference/merit.
