How to Download NCERT Non Academic Admit Card 2026 — Step-by-Step

The NCERT hall ticket is available exclusively through digialm.com — no postal dispatch. Every candidate must log in individually and download their personalised admit card. Use this 6-step process:

🔗 Direct Admit Card Link
https://www.digialm.com//EForms/configuredHtml/1258/96551/login.html
Supported browsers: Google Chrome · Mozilla Firefox · Microsoft Edge (Chromium). Try Incognito mode if page fails to load.
1

Open the Official NCERT Admit Card Portal

Navigate to the direct digialm link above — OR — open ncert.nic.in, click "Vacancies", find "Non-Academic Direct Quota Recruitment 2025 (Advt. 01/2025/Non-Academic)", and click the Admit Card link. Both paths lead to the same login page.

2

Log In with Registration Number and Password

Enter your Registration Number / User ID and Password or Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) as set during application. Complete the CAPTCHA carefully. Click Login / Submit. Repeated failed attempts may temporarily lock your account — cross-check your credentials from the application acknowledgement or original SMS/email before trying again.

3

Click the "Download Admit Card" Link on Your Dashboard

After logging in, your candidate dashboard appears. Find the button or link labelled "Download Admit Card" or "Hall Ticket" for Advertisement No. 01/2025/Non-Academic. Click it to open your personalised hall ticket as a PDF file in a new tab or download window.

4

Verify Every Detail Before Printing

Check: full name spelling (must match Class 10 certificate) · registration and roll number · post applied for · exam date and shift · reporting time · exam centre name and full address · photo clarity. Any error must be reported via the Helpdesk tab at least 48–72 hours before your exam date — not on the morning of the exam.

5

Print in Colour on A4 Paper — Take 2 Copies

Save the PDF and print in colour on A4 paper. The photograph must be clearly visible — blurry or faded printouts may cause entry issues. Print at least 2 copies — one to submit if required at the centre, one as your personal record throughout the recruitment process including Document Verification.

6

Locate Your Exam Centre in Advance

Google your assigned exam centre immediately after downloading. If possible, do a physical recce the day before the exam to identify the exact building, gate, floor, and nearest transport stop. Many CBT venues occupy large campuses with multiple gates. Knowing your route eliminates all last-minute confusion and ensures you arrive well within the reporting window.

💡 Forgot Password? Use the "Forgot Password" option on the digialm login page. The reset link is sent to your registered email or mobile. If you no longer have access, use the Helpdesk tab immediately — resolve this at least 5 days before your exam date.

Exam Pattern — NCERT Non Academic CBT 2026

The CBT has two sections with independent qualifying thresholds. Section B (domain-specific, 70 marks) is the decisive section — failing either section individually disqualifies the candidate even if the total is high. Prioritise your post-specific technical subject above all else.

SectionSubjects / Topics CoveredQuestionsMarks
Section A — General AptitudeGeneral English & Comprehension · Logical Reasoning · Quantitative Aptitude · General Awareness & Current Affairs · Computer Knowledge & Applications3030
Section B — Domain / Post-SpecificCivil/Electrical Engineering (AE/JE) · Accountancy (Finance posts) · ITI trade knowledge (Technician) · English Typing/Grammar (LDC) · Lab Science (Lab Assistant) · and so on per post applied7070

Total Duration90 minutes | PwBD: +30 minutes compensatory time
Question TypeObjective MCQ — 4 options, 1 correct answer
Correct Answer+1 mark (most posts) | +0.5 marks Sec A for Group A (AE) posts

Min. Qualifying — Section A40% (12/30) for UR/EWS | 35% (10.5/30) for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD
Min. Qualifying — Section B40% (28/70) for UR/EWS | 35% (24.5/70) for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD
Section Independence RuleBoth sections must individually clear the threshold — strong Sec B cannot compensate weak Sec A
Group A AE Special PatternCBT: 150 marks (Sec A 0.5/Q, Sec B 1/Q) + Interview: 50 marks = 200 marks total
💡 Score Strategy
  • Target 18+ in Section A (60%) and 48+ in Section B (68%) for a competitive total of 66+/100 and safe clearance of both thresholds.
  • Section B is the differentiator — domain knowledge depth determines your rank among peers who all pass Section A comfortably.
  • Skip questions you are genuinely unsure about — a blank is 0 marks, a wrong answer costs marks. Only guess when you can eliminate at least 2 options with confidence.

What Happens After the NCERT CBT — Post-Exam Roadmap
1

Provisional Answer Key Released

Within 1–2 weeks after 27 March 2026, NCERT publishes the provisional answer key on ncert.nic.in and the digialm portal. Candidates can view responses against the key and raise objections — NCERT will announce the objection schedule and fee structure with the answer key notice. Monitor ncert.nic.in regularly as no SMS/email alerts are sent.

2

Final Answer Key & CBT Result — April–May 2026

After the expert committee reviews all objections, NCERT releases the final answer key and computed CBT scores. Post-wise, category-wise merit lists are published on ncert.nic.in. Expected April–May 2026. Shortlisted candidates receive Skill Test or Interview call letters via registered email and the candidate portal.

3

Skill Test (for LDC, Technician, Driver, Lab Assistant, Computer Operator)

Shortlisted Group C candidates for eligible posts appear for the post-specific skill test — typing test for LDC/Steno, trade practical for Technician, driving test for Driver, etc. The Skill Test is qualifying in nature for most posts — your CBT score alone determines final merit ranking. Pass the Skill Test and you advance to DV.

4

Interview — Group A Posts Only (50 Marks)

Group A shortlisted candidates appear before NCERT's Selection Board for a 50-mark personal interview. This score is directly added to the CBT score for the final Group A merit list (200 marks total). Prepare in-depth technical knowledge for your domain — Civil/Electrical for AE, Finance for officer posts — along with structured communication and confidence.

5

Document Verification → Medical Examination → Appointment

Finally selected candidates receive DV call letters and present all original certificates at the designated NCERT venue. After successful DV, a government medical officer evaluates fitness per post-specific standards. Candidates cleared through all stages receive the appointment order with joining date and assigned posting location.

Total: 100 Qs / 100 marks / 90 minutes. Negative marking applies. Min. qualifying: 40% per section for UR/EWS | 35% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD — both sections independently.
6
What is the salary for NCERT Group A, B and C posts?
+

After all CBT sessions on 27 March, NCERT releases the provisional answer key (approx. 1–2 weeks later), objection window, expert committee review, final answer key, then the result and post-wise category-wise merit lists on ncert.nic.in. Monitor the site regularly — NCERT does not send SMS or email alerts for result dates.
11
What items are prohibited at the NCERT exam centre?
+
Prohibited: mobile phones, tablets, earphones, power banks (immediate confiscation + possible disqualification); smartwatches, digital watches, Bluetooth devices (even switched off); calculators, log tables; books, notes, study material (rough sheets provided at centre); bags, wallets, large jewellery, metallic accessories (no storage facilities at exam venues — leave valuables at home).

+
