Candidates claiming SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II/EWS reservation must produce valid caste/EWS certificates issued by the competent authority of Jharkhand. Certificates from other states are not valid. Divyang and Sports quota rules follow the circular of Dept of Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Rajbhasha, Govt of Jharkhand.
Option 2: MBA in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration from a recognised university
Option 3: Master's in Public Health (MPH) from a recognised institution
Degree/Diploma must be from a UGC-recognised university or AICTE-approved institution. Distance education or correspondence qualifications may not be accepted — verify from official notification.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Jharkhand rules. Candidates must ensure their date of birth is correctly entered in the online application. Application Screening
All received applications are screened based on essential qualification, experience, and skills as mentioned in the notification. Merit-Based Shortlisting
Shortlisting is based on educational qualification, work experience, and relevant skills. Higher qualification and more relevant experience generally improves shortlisting chances. Document Verification / Interview

Final Selection
The decision of the Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Jharkhand in any matter relating to selection is final and binding. Selected candidates are issued appointment letters for contractual engagement as Hospital Manager at respective posting locations across Jharkhand.
If at any stage of the recruitment process — even after appointment — it is discovered that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria or has provided incorrect/false information, their candidature/appointment will be cancelled without any prior notice. This includes cancellation during document verification or after joining.
