Visit the Official Admit Card Portal
Open your browser and go to recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in — this is the official Rajasthan Government recruitment portal. Do not use any third-party website or unofficial link to download your admit card as these may contain incorrect or fraudulent documents.
Click on the “Admit Card” Section
On the homepage of the portal, look for the “Admit Card” option in the navigation menu or in the main notice board area. Click on it to proceed to the list of available admit cards for various recruitments.
Select “Direct Recruitment of Home Guard”
From the list of available admit cards, find the entry for “Direct Recruitment of Home Guard” (Home Guard Volunteer Enrollment Process 2022/2023). Click on the “Get Admit Card” button or link placed directly against this recruitment.

A new page will open. Enter your Application Number (the registration/application number you received during the 2023 online application through SSO ID) and your Date of Birth in the prescribed format (DD/MM/YYYY). Fill the Captcha Code displayed on screen carefully.

Click the Print / Download button to save the PDF and take a clear printout on A4 paper.
Take a Clear Printout & Verify All Details
Print the Admit Card in black-and-white or colour on plain A4 paper. Ensure the photograph, signature, QR code (if any), and all text are clearly legible. Do not fold or damage the admit card. Keep multiple copies — one for the physical test and one as a personal record. Carry this along with a valid Government-issued photo identity proof on the day of the physical test.
Candidates who do not carry a printed copy of their Admit Card to the physical test centre will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. The admit card is mandatory for biometric verification and attendance recording. No request for entry without an admit card will be entertained on the day of the physical test.

- Original eligibility documents if required for special qualification marks — ITI / Diploma / Sports / NCC / ESM certificate
- Candidates applying under reserved categories must carry their original caste / category certificate
👨 Male Candidates — PST Standards
👩 Female Candidates — PST Standards
- PST (height, chest, weight measurements) is conducted before the PET (running). Candidates who fail PST are not permitted to appear in the PET.
- Measurement is done by authorised personnel using standard equipment. No personal measuring tapes or devices are allowed.
- If a candidate feels the measurement was incorrect, they may raise a formal appeal to the presiding officer at the test centre on the same day — no appeals are entertained later.
- Exact standards for all categories including ex-servicemen relaxations are specified in the official recruitment notification — verify from the official PDF on home.rajasthan.gov.in.
Unlike most recruitments where PET is purely qualifying, the Rajasthan Home Guard PET carries 25 marks that directly form part of the final merit list. The faster a candidate completes the 5 km run, the higher the marks awarded. It is therefore critical to train seriously for running speed, not just the minimum qualifying time.
| Category | Distance | Time Limit | Marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Male Candidates — PET Running | |||
| 5 km in up to 20 minutes | 5 km | Up to 20 min | 25 Marks |
| 5 km in 20:01 to 22 minutes | 5 km | 20:01 – 22:00 min | 20 Marks |
| 5 km in 22:01 to 24 minutes | 5 km | 22:01 – 24:00 min | 15 Marks |
| 5 km in 24:01 to 25 minutes | 5 km | 24:01 – 25:00 min | 10 Marks |
| 5 km beyond 25 minutes | 5 km | Beyond 25:00 min | Disqualified |
| Female Candidates — PET Running | |||
| 5 km in up to 30 minutes | 5 km | Up to 30 min | 25 Marks |
| 5 km in 30:01 to 32 minutes | 5 km | 30:01 – 32:00 min | 20 Marks |
| 5 km in 32:01 to 34 minutes | 5 km | 32:01 – 34:00 min | 15 Marks |
| 5 km in 34:01 to 35 minutes | 5 km | 34:01 – 35:00 min | 10 Marks |
| 5 km beyond 35 minutes | 5 km | Beyond 35:00 min | Disqualified |
- The difference between full marks (25) and lowest qualifying marks (10) in PET is enormous for final merit — every second of improvement in your running time matters
- Train with interval running: alternate between 400m sprints and 200m jogs to build both speed and stamina
- Aim to comfortably complete 5 km in under 20 minutes (males) or under 30 minutes (females) to secure full PET marks
- Wear comfortable, lightweight running shoes on test day — avoid new footwear
- Stay hydrated and eat a light meal 2–3 hours before the test — avoid heavy food on the morning of the physical test
| Special Qualification | Marks Awarded |
|---|---|
| ITI / Diploma Certificates | |
| ITI Certificate (Electrician, Fitter, Plumber, Welder, Mechanic, Carpenter, Fire Technology & other trades) | 3 Marks |
| Diploma (Engineering / Polytechnic) from recognised institution | 3 Marks |
| Sports & NCC Achievements | |
| Sports achievement at State / National / International level with valid certificate from competent authority | Up to 5 Marks |
| NCC Certificate — ‘A’ Certificate | 2 Marks |
| NCC Certificate — ‘B’ Certificate | 3 Marks |
| NCC Certificate — ‘C’ Certificate | 5 Marks |
| Ex-Servicemen | |
| Ex-Servicemen with valid discharge certificate from Indian Army / Navy / Air Force | Up to 10 Marks |
| Maximum Special Qualification Marks | 20 Marks (total cap) |
Since PET running carries 25 marks and special qualifications carry up to 20 marks, a candidate who runs 5 km in under 20 minutes (25 marks) and holds an NCC ‘C’ Certificate (5 marks) + ITI certificate (3 marks) can potentially score 33 out of 45 marks — an extremely competitive score. Candidates with multiple qualifying certificates should carry all originals to the Document Verification stage to claim maximum special qualification marks.

The exact physical test venue within each district is finalised by the concerned District Collector / Superintendent of Police and is printed on each candidate’s individual Admit Card. The exam centre and shift allocation are fixed and cannot be changed after the Admit Card is issued. Candidates must report to their allotted centre only — requests for centre transfers will not be entertained.
Stage 1 — Physical Standard Test (PST)
All shortlisted candidates first undergo PST — measurement of height, chest (males only), and weight (females). Candidates who do not meet the prescribed physical standards for their category are disqualified on the spot and are not permitted to proceed to the PET. The PST is purely qualifying with no marks attached to it.
Stage 2 — Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify the PST proceed to the PET — a 5 km running race. Marks from 10 to 25 are awarded based on the time taken to complete the run. Candidates who exceed the maximum time limit (25 minutes for males, 35 minutes for females) are disqualified. These PET marks directly form part of the final merit calculation.
Stage 3 — Document Verification (DV)
Candidates shortlisted based on the combined merit of PET marks and special qualification marks proceed to Document Verification. At this stage, all original certificates are checked — educational qualifications, age proof, category certificates, ITI/Diploma, NCC, sports, and ex-servicemen documents. Special qualification marks are formally credited only after document verification confirms their authenticity.
Stage 4 — Medical Examination
Candidates who clear Document Verification undergo a Medical Examination conducted by authorised Government medical officers. Minimum fitness standards must be met for the Home Guard Volunteer role. Candidates found medically unfit at this stage are disqualified regardless of their merit rank.
Stage 5 — Final Merit List & Enrollment
After all stages, the Directorate of Home Guards, Rajasthan prepares the final merit list based on 45 total marks (PET 25 + Special Qualification up to 20). The list is published district-wise and category-wise on the official website. Selected candidates are enrolled as Home Guard Volunteers and are entitled to duty allowance on days when they are called for duty.
