Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released Advertisement No. 524/RC/SSB/Combined Advt./CT to SI (Non-GD)/2025 for 83 Group-C Medical Cadre posts — covering seven different paramedical specialisations across three pay levels. The posts include Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in Radiographer, Pharmacist, OT Technician and Dental Technician trades; Head Constable (HC) in Laboratory Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant trades; and Constable in Nursing Assistant cum Medic. - 1 year working experience as a Radiographer in a Radiology/Imaging Centre or minimum 100-bedded Hospital/Institution recognised by Central or State Government

- Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 — valid registration mandatory
- 1 year working experience as a Pharmacist in a minimum 100-bedded Hospital/Institution recognised by Central or State Government

- 2-year Diploma Course in Operation Theatre Technology / Technician from a recognised institute

Part-II (100 marks): Technical Subject (trade-specific — Radiography/Pharmacy/OT Technology/Dental Technology as applicable)
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-SM) | 45% (SC/ST)
Final merit based entirely on CBT marks. No interview. Tie-breaking: Part-II marks → senior in age → alphabetical order of first name.
Female: 800 metre race in 4 minutes
PET is qualifying in nature — no marks awarded. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET but must appear in all subsequent stages.
Part-II (50 marks): Technical Subject (Lab Assistant or Physiotherapy — trade-specific)
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-SM) | 45% (SC/ST)
Final merit based entirely on CBT marks only.
Female: 2.4 km race in 14 minutes
PET is qualifying — no marks awarded. Ex-Servicemen exempted from PET.
Part-II (50 marks): Technical Subject (First Aid, Nursing, Basic Medical procedures)
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-SM) | 45% (SC/ST)
Final merit based entirely on CBT marks.

Upload Photo & Signature (Part-II)
Upload a passport-size coloured photograph in JPG format: 4–12 KB file size, resolution 100×120 pixels, white background, 75% face visible. Upload signature in JPG format: 4–12 KB, resolution 140×60 pixels, black or dark blue ink only on white background. If you have a beard, appear with it and upload that photo — your appearance at the recruitment venue must match. Applications with invalid/blurred/incorrect photos are summarily rejected. 💚
Pay Application Fee (Part-III) Before 20 April 2026
Pay fee via Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI. UR/EWS/OBC: Rs 100 | SC/ST/Ex-SM/Female: NIL. Fee is non-refundable. Avoid multiple payments against a single registration. After successful payment, the system generates a Registration Number — note it and keep it safe for all future references. A confirmation message is also sent to your registered mobile and email. 💚
Submit, Print & Keep Checking recruitment.ssb.gov.in for Admit Card
After clicking "Upload," the filled application form is shown — edit using "Edit Details" button till 20 April 2026. After final submission, take a printout for future reference. e-Admit Card will be available for download from recruitment.ssb.gov.in approximately 2–3 weeks before each recruitment stage. No Admit Card is sent by post or email. Keep checking the website regularly. At the venue, carry the Admit Card + a valid original Photo ID (PAN/Passport/DL/Voter Card/Aadhaar/Bank Passbook with photo). 💚

- Registration/Statutory certificates (Pharmacy Act, Dental Council) must be valid — produce originals at documentation stage.
- Change of category after registration is NOT entertained — candidature cancelled.
