How to Apply for a PAN Card Online in India

You can apply for a PAN card through two official portals: NSDL (Protean) and UTIITSL. Here’s how:


🔷 Option 1: Apply via NSDL (Protean eGov)

  1. Visit the NSDL PAN Portal
    Go to the NSDL PAN Application Page
  2. Select Application Type
    Choose “New PAN – Indian Citizen (Form 49A)”
  3. Fill in Your Details
    Enter your name, date of birth, contact info, and Aadhaar details
  4. Upload Documents
    Submit scanned copies of identity proof, address proof, and date of birth proof
  5. Make Payment
    Pay ₹107 (within India) or ₹1,017 (outside India) via online payment options
  6. Submit and Track
    After submission, you’ll receive an acknowledgment number to track your PAN status

🔷 Option 2: Apply via UTIITSL

  1. Visit the UTIITSL Portal
    Go to the UTIITSL PAN Services Page
  2. Choose PAN Application Type
    Select “Apply for New PAN Card (Form 49A)”
  3. Fill the Form
    Provide personal details and upload required documents
  4. Make Payment
    Pay ₹72 for e-PAN or ₹107 for physical PAN card
  5. Receive PAN
    PAN will be sent to your registered email or postal address
