Before going to DV, ensure your registration on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (NAPS Portal) is 100% complete — upload SSC/10th marksheet, ITI marksheet (all semesters), Aadhaar, photograph, signature, and complete KYC verification. Your name, DOB, and gender on the portal must exactly match your 10th certificate. Any mismatch must be corrected via Re-KYC before reporting.

Sign Apprenticeship Contract & Join
Candidates whose documents are verified and found correct will be asked to sign a tripartite apprenticeship contract between themselves, HAL, and the respective Board (BOAT — Board of Apprenticeship Training, Kanpur). The contract covers the entire one-year training period. Stipend is paid monthly after contract execution. If you discontinue the apprenticeship before completion, you will not receive the completion certificate and may be liable for proportionate cost recovery.
HAL Korwa requires a Police Verification Certificate from your concerned Superintendent of Police office. This certificate typically takes several weeks to process. Candidates who appear in the provisional selection list are strongly advised to apply for the Police Verification Certificate immediately — it is mandatory to submit this at the time of joining the apprenticeship. Without it, the offer letter (issued after DV) cannot be acted upon.
