Upon completion of the 12-month training, apprentices are issued a Trade Apprentice Certificate and relieved from the division. However, the apprenticeship provides: a government-recognised HAL Trade Apprentice Certificate highly valued in government examinations; valuable hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience; NAC/NAPS completion certificate that improves eligibility for many PSU/government technical posts; and practical knowledge that gives a significant edge in competitive exams for Technician/Operator posts in HAL itself and other Defence PSUs like DRDO, BEL, ISRO, BEML, and Ordnance Factories.
