The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bengaluru, has released two separate employment notifications on behalf of the Commissioner, Survey Settlement and Land Records Department, Government of Karnataka, inviting online applications for the Group-C post of Bhoomapaka (Surveyor). A total of 750 vacancies have been announced — 560 posts under the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC) and 190 posts under the Kalyana Karnataka (local cadre) region. Candidates holding a qualifying engineering degree, diploma, or an equivalent science degree can apply online through the official KEA website. Selection will be made through a competitive written examination followed by a Kannada language test and document verification. Since the two regions carry separate advertisement numbers, separate exam dates, and separate vacancy classifications, candidates should read the notification applicable to their region carefully before applying.
