Computer Assistant → Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks (Distance Education approved by DEC/UGC/AICTE valid) + Diploma in Computer Applications (minimum 6 months). Must be well-versed in mobile applications.
Gram Rozgar Sahayak → Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks + Diploma in Computer Applications (minimum 6 months). Must be well-versed in mobile applications.
Gram Panchayat Coordinator → Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks + Diploma in Computer Applications (minimum 6 months). Must be well-versed in mobile applications.
- Candidates scoring less than 50% in their graduation degree are not eligible for Computer Assistant, Gram Rozgar Sahayak, and Gram Panchayat Coordinator posts.
- Applicants without a Diploma in Computer Applications (minimum 6 months) will be disqualified for all posts except Accredited Engineer.
- Accredited Engineer applicants must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering — a general graduate degree is not acceptable for this post.
- Incomplete online applications or those submitted after 22 March 2026 will not be considered under any circumstances.
Written Examination (OMR Based — 75 Marks)
An OMR-based written test carrying 75 marks will be conducted for all applicants. Negative marking is applicable, so candidates must answer questions carefully. The exam will assess general knowledge, reasoning, and subject-relevant topics.
Viva / Interview (25 Marks)
Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for a viva-voce (oral interview) carrying 25 marks. Only written exam-qualified candidates are eligible for this stage.
Document Verification
Candidates shortlisted after the viva stage will be called for verification of original documents including educational certificates, Diploma in Computer Applications, category certificate, age proof, and photo identity documents.
Final Merit List & Contract Offer
A final combined merit list (written exam + viva, total 100 marks) is prepared. Selected candidates receive a contractual appointment offer from the Commissionerate of Panchayat & Rural Development, Assam.
