Master’s Degree (MA / MSc / MCom) in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university. Reserved category candidates need 50% marks. B.Ed with relevant teaching subject also required. Must have studied the subject as an elective throughout the 3-year Graduation programme.
Minimum 18 years — Maximum 37 years. Age calculated as of the last date of application (31 July 2026).
Proficiency in Punjabi language up to Matriculation (10th standard) level is mandatory for all applicants, regardless of the subject applied for.

🏭 Admit Card Download

📝 Paper I — Punjabi Qualifying Examination
Offline OMR-based test in Punjabi language at Matriculation level — 50 marks, 2.5 hours. Mandatory qualifying gate. Candidates who do not clear this paper are not eligible for the core subject paper evaluation. No negative marking applies.
📚 Paper II — Core Subject Written Examination
Offline OMR-based test in the candidate’s applied subject — 250 marks, 2.5 hours. Tests knowledge at postgraduate level in two sections: general subject fundamentals and advanced postgraduate topics. Merit list prepared from combined marks. No negative marking.
📄 Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates (based on Written Test merit, subject-wise and category-wise) are called for Document Verification. All original certificates and documents submitted during application will be verified. Any discrepancy leads to disqualification. Only candidates with validated documents proceed to final appointment.
