The Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) has announced recruitment for 192 Act Apprentice posts for the 2025–26 training session. This apprenticeship program is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and offers ITI-qualified candidates an opportunity to receive hands-on industrial training in one of Indian Railways’ major production units located in Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

- Passed 10th (Matriculation) with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT.

1️⃣ What is the selection method for RWF Act Apprentice recruitment?
Selection is purely based on academic merit. Candidates are shortlisted according to their percentage of marks in the 10th standard. There is no written examination or interview. Shortlisted applicants are called for document verification and medical fitness.
2️⃣ Is ITI mandatory to apply for these apprentice posts?
Yes. Applicants must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT. Without ITI certification in the specified trade, the application will not be considered.
3️⃣ Will this apprenticeship guarantee a permanent railway job?
No. Apprenticeship training at Rail Wheel Factory does not provide automatic employment in Indian Railways. It is a skill development training program under the Apprentices Act.
