How to Download RRB NTPC Graduate Answer Key 2026 — Step by Step
Go to the Official RRB Portal
Visit rrb.digialm.com — the centralised digital portal for all RRB exams. Alternatively, visit your respective regional RRB website (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in for Chandigarh, rrbmumbai.gov.in for Mumbai, etc.) and look for the notification bar at the top of the homepage reading "CEN 06/2025 (NTPC-Graduate): CBT-1 Answer Key & Response Sheet". Both portals lead to the same login page.
Click the Answer Key / Response Sheet Link
On the regional RRB website, find and click the link labelled: "CEN-06/2025 (NTPC Categories) — Link for viewing of Tentative CBT 1 Graduate Level Answer Key & Response Sheet". This redirects you to the official login page at rrb.digialm.com. You can also use the direct link provided on this page.
Log In with Registration Number and Date of Birth
On the login page, enter your Registration Number (from your application acknowledgment) and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) or Password. Enter the captcha code exactly as shown — it is case-sensitive. Click Login / Submit. Use a desktop or laptop browser for better compatibility. Chrome or Firefox recommended with JavaScript enabled.
Download Answer Key, Response Sheet, and Question Paper
After successful login, your candidate dashboard displays three downloadable documents: (1) Provisional Answer Key — lists correct answers for each question ID, (2) Candidate Response Sheet — your submitted answers for each question ID, and (3) Question Paper — actual questions as asked in your shift. Download all three PDFs and save them. Cross-reference response sheet answers against the answer key to calculate your estimated score.
Calculate Your Score Using Marking Scheme
Compare each question ID on your response sheet with the corresponding answer in the provisional key. Mark each as: Correct (+1), Wrong (−1/3), or Unattempted (0). Use the formula: Score = (Correct × 1) − (Wrong × 0.33). Note that answers are identified by Question ID numbers, not by question serial number — IDs remain constant across all shifts. Round to two decimal places for your estimated score.
- If login fails — verify Registration Number format (no spaces) and DOB (DD/MM/YYYY)
- If the page doesn't load — try clearing browser cache, use Incognito mode, or switch to a different browser
- Server traffic is highest near the deadline — download early to avoid slowdowns on 12 April
- If you cannot find your RRB regional website, use the direct centralised link: rrb.digialm.com
- Answer Key PDF contains Question IDs, not question text — match by ID number, not by serial number
How to Calculate Your RRB NTPC CBT 1 Score
Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for EACH incorrect answer in both CBT 1 and CBT 2
Score = (72 × 1) − (18 × ⅓) = 72 − 6 = 66 Marks
If instead Correct: 80 | Wrong: 10 | Score = 80 − 3.33 = 76.67 Marks
Wrong answer cost: −0.33 marks each. 3 wrong answers = −1 full mark loss.
| Response Type | Marks | Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| ✅ Correct Answer | +1 mark | Answer confidently when sure |
| ❌ Wrong Answer | −1/3 mark (−0.33) | Avoid guessing on unsure questions |
| ⬜ Unattempted | 0 marks | Skip if less than 33% confident |
How to Raise Objection Against RRB NTPC CBT 1 Answer Key 2026
Login and Access the Objection Tracker
Go to rrb.digialm.com or your regional RRB website. Log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password. After login, look for the "Objection Tracker" or "Raise Objection" section within the candidate dashboard. This is separate from the answer key download section.
Identify and Select the Question to Challenge
Carefully review your response sheet against the answer key. Identify questions where you believe the official answer is incorrect. Note the Question ID numbers of such questions (not the serial number). In the objection interface, select the Question ID from the dropdown or entry field. The question text and official answer will appear for verification. Only challenge questions where you have solid evidence from recognised reference books or official sources.
Submit Objection Details & Pay Fee
For each challenged question, provide: (a) Your correct answer option, (b) Justification or reference for why the official answer is wrong. Pay the objection fee of ₹50 per question via RuPay Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. You may raise objections for multiple questions in a single session. The fee of ₹50 per question is refunded (after deducting bank charges) to the same account if your objection is accepted as valid by RRB's expert panel.
Save Confirmation and Track Objection
After payment, save or screenshot the objection confirmation/receipt. Do not wait until 12 April — server loads peak near the deadline and technical failures do not qualify for extensions. Use the "Objection Tracker" feature on the portal to check the status of your submitted objections after the review period.
- RRB's panel of subject matter experts reviews all submitted objections and their justifications
- If an objection is found valid, the question's answer is corrected in the Final Answer Key
- The objection fee (₹50) is refunded (minus bank charges) to the original payment account for each accepted objection
- The Final Answer Key — not the provisional key — is used to calculate scores and prepare the CBT 1 result
- CBT 1 result is expected in the 4th week of April 2026, along with individual scorecards and zone-wise cut off marks
- No objections are accepted after 12 April 2026 under any circumstances — the deadline is absolute
