Selection Process for SAIL BSP Apprentice 2026

[Online Registration on Portal] ➔ [Merit List Calculation] ➔ [Walk-in Document Verification at HRDC Bhilai] ➔ [Medical Fitness Check] ➔ [Apprenticeship Commencement]

Merit Calculation Formula:

Merit Score=(10th Marks×30%)+(ITI/Diploma/Degree Marks×70%)\text{Merit Score} = (10\text{th Marks} \times 30\%) + (\text{ITI/Diploma/Degree Marks} \times 70\%)

Merit Score=(10th Marks×30%)+(ITI/Diploma/Degree Marks×70%)

  • Example: 10th = 70%, ITI = 80% → Merit = (70×0.30) + (80×0.70) = 21 + 56 = 77%
  • Selection is purely merit-based — no written examination, no interview.
  • In case of a tie, candidate with higher qualifying certificate marks gets preference.
