Stage 1 — Online Application Screening
After the application window closes on 3 June 2026, RSSB will screen all received applications for eligibility — verifying Master's degree percentage, NET/SET/PhD status, age, and subject relevance. Applications not meeting minimum eligibility are rejected at this stage. If the number of eligible applicants is very high relative to vacancies, RSSB may set additional shortlisting criteria above the advertised minimums.
Stage 2 — Written Examination (If Applicable)
RSSB may conduct a subject-specific written examination if the candidate pool is large — covering the respective academic discipline, general knowledge, Rajasthan GK, and teaching methodology. Alternatively, RSSB may shortlist directly based on academic merit (Master's percentage + NET/PhD score) without a written test, as per Raj-CES Hiring Rules 2023. Stage 3 — Document Verification
Provisionally selected candidates are called for original document verification at a designated venue. All original documents — marksheets, degree certificates, NET/SET/PhD proof, category certificate, age proof, and Rajasthan domicile — must be presented. Stage 4 — Final Merit List & Engagement
After successful document verification, RSSB releases the final subject-wise merit list on rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Selected Teaching Associates receive engagement orders from Raj-CES for posting at government degree colleges across Rajasthan. All posts are transferable within Rajasthan. The contractual engagement is initially for a fixed term — renewable as per Raj-CES norms and state government requirements.
