Directorate of Social Security and Women & Child Development, Punjab (SSWCD) has re-opened online applications for 6110 Anganwadi Worker and Helper posts. Open for female candidates with Punjab domicile only. Apply before 11 March 2026.
Maximum Age: 37 years
Age relaxation applicable as per Punjab government rules for reserved category candidates.
Anganwadi Helper (AWH): Minimum Class 10th pass from any recognized board
Both posts require full-time regular mode of study only.

Online Application Submission
Eligible candidates must fill and submit the online application form at eservices.punjab.gov.in before 11 March 2026. All documents must be uploaded in PDF format as specified.
Shortlisting on Academic Merit
No written examination is conducted. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic percentage in the qualifying exam (10th for AWH / 12th for AWW) and other prescribed criteria mentioned in the official notification.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates are called for verification of all original documents — educational certificates, domicile certificate, category certificate, age proof, and Punjabi language knowledge proof.
Final Selection & Posting
After successful document verification, candidates are finally selected and posted to their respective districts. Selection is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility conditions as per official rules.

Q3. Who is eligible to apply for Punjab Anganwadi Recruitment 2026?
