A total of 3,229 candidates who had cleared the Skill Test were issued interview call letters. Out of them, 2,837 appeared for the interview while 392 remained absent.
Candidates Disqualified at Skill Test & Interview
259 candidates failed to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Skill Test. Additionally, 23 candidates did not achieve the minimum qualifying score in the Interview. None of these 282 candidates were considered for the final result.

During document verification, 320 candidates could not substantiate their claimed category (Caste / NCL / EWS / Domicile certificates). Upon re-assessment under Unreserved Category, these candidates failed to qualify the Written Test. Their earlier selection stands cancelled. The full list is in Annexure-II.

Candidate Kumod Nandan Prasad (Roll No. 119047) failed to produce original documents at the time of verification and did not honour the undertaking he had submitted. His candidature has been cancelled accordingly.
Final Candidates Considered for Result
After all the above adjustments, 2,234 candidates who qualified at every stage — Written Test, Skill Test, Interview, and Document Verification — were considered for the final merit-based result. The merit panel formed from these candidates will remain valid for one year.

Selection Process — How the Final Result Was Prepared

Written Test ✅

The recruitment process began with a Written Test conducted under Advertisement PHC/01/2025. Marks from this test were used as a tiebreaker in case of equal total scores at the final stage. Candidates who failed to qualify here (after re-assessment for document issues) were eliminated — 320 such candidates were removed at this stage.

Skill Test ✅

Candidates who cleared the Written Test appeared for the Skill Test. A minimum qualifying score was mandatory. 259 candidates failed to meet this minimum and were not considered for further stages. Skill Test marks were included in the final merit calculation.

Interview ✅

A total of 3,229 candidates who cleared the Skill Test were called for the Interview. Of these, 2,837 appeared and 392 remained absent. A further 23 candidates failed to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Interview and were disqualified. Interview marks were included in the final merit list.

Document Verification ✅

After the Interview, all shortlisted candidates underwent Document Verification. Candidates unable to produce valid Caste, NCL, EWS, or Domicile certificates were re-assessed under Unreserved Category from the initial stage. Those who then failed the Written Test threshold were eliminated. A total of 320 candidates were removed at this stage (Annexure-II).

Final Merit List & Result — 171 Selected 🏆

From the remaining 2,234 qualified candidates, the final merit list was prepared by adding marks from Written Test + Skill Test + Interview. The top 171 candidates against advertised vacancies in each category form the selected panel. This panel is valid for one year from the result date.

The selection of candidate Nadra Perween (Roll No. 125257, Category: EBC-F) at Rank 163 is conditional. Her selection is subject to passing the Cycling Test as notified vide Notice No. 100/R&A dated 18 December 2025. If she fails the cycling test, her appointment as Regular Mazdoor shall stand cancelled.

Appointment letters for all 171 selected candidates will be dispatched through Speed Post / Registered Post to their addresses as registered in the application form. Selected candidates are advised to keep their address updated and to track their Speed Post delivery. No individual communication will be sent by email or SMS.

Merit Panel Validity — One Year
The panel of 2,234 qualified candidates in order of merit shall remain valid for a period of one year from the date of result declaration (10 March 2026). This means that if any vacancy arises during this period, candidates from the panel may be considered for appointment in order of merit.
⛔ Important — Candidates in Annexure-II (320 Disqualified)
  • 320 candidates who could not substantiate their category at Document Verification have been permanently disqualified from this recruitment cycle. Their earlier selection in the Written Test stands cancelled.
  • Reason: Inability to produce valid Caste Certificate, NCL Certificate, EWS Certificate, or Domicile Certificate, or incorrect details of Date of Birth, Gender, or OH status in the application form.
  • These candidates may appear in future recruitments but cannot claim reinstatement in this cycle.

What is the salary of a Regular Mazdoor at Patna High Court?
