Online Written Examination (CBT)
100 questions / 100 marks / 60 minutes — two time-bound sections of 30 minutes each. English medium only. 1/4th negative marking. Exam centres: Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Kargil, Baramulla, Samba, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Mohali, Chandigarh, Pune. Centre once chosen cannot be changed.
District / Region-wise Category Merit List
Candidates ranked within their chosen district/cluster and category in descending order of aggregate marks. Tie-breaking: older candidate ranked higher (age in descending order). Scores equated across multiple sessions if conducted. Wait list of 50% of vacancies maintained for one year.
Document Verification
Provisionally selected candidates called with originals — graduation marksheets + degree, DOB proof (Class X), Aadhaar, PAN, caste/EWS/disability certificates, domicile/residence certificate, scribe certificate (if used). Any discrepancy at this stage leads to automatic disqualification.
Medical Fitness Examination
Candidates who clear document verification must be declared medically fit by a qualified medical practitioner designated by the Bank, or produce a certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner — at the Bank's discretion. Engagement is conditional on medical clearance.
Digital Apprenticeship Contract via NATS Portal
Medically fit candidates receive an Apprenticeship Contract digitally through nats.education.gov.in. Contract must be accepted within the stipulated time on the NATS portal. Training commences from the date specified on the digital contract. Binding under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
