- Action now: Go to uidai.gov.in → My Aadhaar → Lock/Unlock Biometrics → Unlock using OTP
- Carry original physical Aadhaar or a printed e-Aadhaar (self-attested) — do not rely only on Aadhaar stored on your phone
- Arrive at the centre at least 90 minutes before your shift's reporting time to clear all entry formalities comfortably
| Section | Questions | Marks | Key Topics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Professional Ability | 70 | 70 | Post-specific clinical/technical knowledge — Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab Tech, Radiology etc. (varies by applied post) |
| General Awareness | 10 | 10 | Current Affairs, Indian Railways GK, Science in everyday life, History, Geography, Polity, Static GK |
| General Arithmetic | 10 | 10 | Number System, Simplification, Percentages, SI/CI, Time–Work, Speed–Distance, Mensuration |
| General Intelligence & Reasoning | 10 | 10 | Analogies, Series Completion, Coding–Decoding, Blood Relations, Directions, Syllogisms |
| TOTAL | 100 | 100 | 90 minutes | ⅓ negative marking | single-stage CBT |
- With 70 out of 100 marks from Professional Ability, your subject knowledge from your paramedical qualification is the most decisive factor — far more important than the general sections
- Revise post-specific clinical topics thoroughly: for Nursing Superintendent — anatomy, pharmacology, nursing procedures, midwifery; for Pharmacist — pharmacology, pharmaceutics, drug interactions
- General Awareness (10 marks) — focus on last 6 months current affairs and Indian Railways facts — quick wins
- The exam may be conducted in multiple sessions — scores will be normalised across shifts using the RRB normalisation formula
- This is a single-stage recruitment — no CBT 2 — so CBT marks directly determine shortlisting for Document Verification
Total Questions: 100 MCQ | Total Marks: 100 | Duration: 90 minutes (120 min for PwBD with scribe)
Negative Marking: ⅓ mark deducted per wrong answer — no penalty for unattempted
Section-wise:

• General Awareness: 10 questions / 10 marks
• General Arithmetic: 10 questions / 10 marks
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 10 questions / 10 marks
This is a single-stage recruitment — CBT marks directly determine who proceeds to Document Verification. There is no CBT 2 for Paramedical posts unlike NTPC.
