- BC Certificate Validity: BC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued in 2025 or 2026 as per G.O.Ms.No.3 and G.O.Ms.No.26. An expired NCL certificate results in the candidate being considered only under Open Competition.
- EWS Certificate: EWS certificate must be issued either in 2025 or 2026 by the concerned Tahsildar with gross annual family income below ₹8,00,000 from all sources — as per G.O.Ms.No.66 and G.O.Ms.No.73.

Select Your Post Code & Read the Instructions
Carefully select the correct Post Code (1 through 13) for the post you are applying for. Read the eligibility criteria for that specific post code — especially the educational qualification, typewriting/shorthand speed requirements, and any experience requirement. Applying for the wrong post code or using incorrect personal details can lead to summary rejection without notice.
Fill the Online Application Form Accurately
Enter all personal details exactly as they appear in your certificates. Key fields: Full Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth (as in SSC), Community, Gender, Aadhaar number, Contact details (mobile + email — both will be used for all official communications), Educational qualification details, Post code, and Category. Particulars furnished in the application are treated as final — no corrections are entertained after submission. Double-check every entry before proceeding to document upload.
Upload All Required Documents
Scan and upload clear, legible copies of all required documents in the prescribed format and file size. Documents include: academic certificates, date of birth proof, community certificate (if claiming reservation), typewriting/shorthand certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (for Senior System Officer), and NOC from employer (if currently employed). Use a flatbed scanner or a document scanning mobile app for best quality — blurry, cut, or unreadable uploads may be rejected.
Pay Examination Fee Online
Pay the applicable fee: ₹800 for UR/EWS/BC candidates and ₹400 for SC/ST/PH candidates (AP state SC/ST only). Payment is through online mode only — Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. Save your payment receipt and transaction reference number. If applying for multiple posts, pay the fee separately for each post application. Fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Select Exam Centre Preferences & Submit
Indicate up to three test centre preferences from the available options. The High Court reserves the right to allot any centre based on resource availability — your preferred centres are not guaranteed. No centre change requests are entertained after submission. After final submission, download and save a printed copy of your application with Application ID — required for Admit Card download, exam day, and all future correspondence with the High Court.
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) — Screening & Merit
All applicants who meet eligibility criteria will be called for the Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam is 80 questions for 80 marks in 90 minutes. For posts like Section Officer, Assistant, Examiner, Librarian and Office Subordinate, CBT marks form the final merit. For posts like Computer Operator, Typist, DEO, Stenographers, CBT is used only for shortlisting candidates for the Skill Test. Admit cards and exam schedule will be published on aphc.gov.in.
Stage 2: Skill Test (for specific posts)
Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in CBT are shortlisted for the Skill Test applicable to their post. The Skill Test evaluates practical competency — typewriting speed, shorthand speed, data entry accuracy, or computer/networking skills as relevant to the post. The mode and detailed parameters of the Skill Test will be published separately on the High Court website. Final selection for these posts is based solely on Skill Test performance — CBT marks are not counted.
Stage 3: Merit List Preparation & Tie-Breaking
Merit lists are prepared category-wise and post-wise based on marks obtained. Tie-breaking rules: If two candidates score equally — (1) the elder in age ranks higher; (2) if age is also equal, the candidate with a higher educational qualification ranks higher; (3) if qualifications are also identical, the candidate with the highest marks in the prescribed educational qualification ranks higher. The High Court applies score normalisation for exams conducted across multiple shifts.
Stage 4: Certificate Verification
Selected candidates are called for original certificate verification on the date specified by the High Court. All documents uploaded during the online application must be produced in original along with one set of attested photocopies. Any discrepancy between uploaded documents and originals — or production of forged documents — leads to immediate cancellation of candidature and criminal liability. Certificates are treated as genuine only at the appointment stage after final verification.
Stage 5: Appointment & Probation
Candidates who clear all stages are given provisional appointment orders. Appointees must be of sound health, active habits, and free from bodily defects rendering them unfit for service. They must be citizens of India with good character and antecedents. Appointments are covered by the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). Persons in bigamous marriages or who have been dismissed from any Central/State Government service are ineligible for appointment regardless of selection.
Section Officers (5) | Senior System Officer (1) | Computer Operator (31) | Assistant Librarian (1) | Librarian Grade-II (1) | U.D. Stenographer (7) | Assistant (78) | Examiner (27) | Typist (44) | Copyist (34) | Data Entry Operator (50) | Stenographer (1) | Office Subordinate (20)
These are a combination of Carried Forward (unfilled from earlier recruitment cycles) and Fresh Vacancies. The High Court reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel vacancies at any stage without assigning reasons.
Application Portal Opens: 30 March 2026
Last Date to Submit Application: 19 April 2026 at 11:59 PM

No other mode of application (offline, postal, email) will be entertained. The exam schedule, admit card dates, and Skill Test schedule will be notified separately on the official website. Candidates must regularly check aphc.gov.in for all updates until the recruitment is complete.
1. Submit a separate online application form for each post code
2. Pay ₹800 (UR/EWS/BC) or ₹400 (SC/ST/PH) separately for each post

Track 1 — CBT = Final Merit (Written Exam Posts):
Section Officer, Assistant Librarian, Librarian Grade-II, Assistant, Examiner, Office Subordinate
→ Merit list prepared based on CBT marks. The candidate who scores highest in CBT (among eligible candidates) gets selected.
Track 2 — CBT = Screening Only (Skill Test Posts):
Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, U.D. Stenographer, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, Data Entry Operator
→ CBT is only used to shortlist candidates who meet the minimum qualifying marks. Final selection is based entirely on Skill Test performance. CBT marks are NOT added to Skill Test marks. A candidate who scores marginally in CBT but performs excellently in Skill Test can still be selected.
"Must possess the minimum educational qualification i.e., a pass in 7th class or equivalent examination. Candidates who failed Intermediate or equivalent examination will be considered but those who have higher qualification than that shall not be considered."
This means only candidates whose highest qualification is up to Intermediate level (12th standard) or below are eligible. Candidates who have passed Intermediate (12th) but failed are eligible. Candidates who have passed Intermediate (12th) fully, or who hold a graduation degree, diploma, or any higher qualification are ineligible. This restriction is specifically to keep the post open for educationally disadvantaged candidates.

If you hold a certificate from a private institute, you should appear for the Government Technical Examination to obtain the valid certificate.
Highest Pay Scale: Section Officer (Post Code 1) — ₹57,100 – ₹1,47,760 per month (Basic Pay). With DA, HRA, and other allowances, total gross pay for Section Officers is significantly higher.
