One FTC post: Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor (4.1). Age limit 39–45 years depending on experience. Maximum age including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. Compensation approximately ₹50–60 LPA.

Work Experience — Experienced Posts
Post-qualification relevant work experience required ranges from approximately 2 to 15+ years depending on the grade. Teaching and research experience in academic institutions is not counted. Candidates currently employed at HPCL cannot apply for lateral positions.

  • Part-time, distance, or correspondence qualifications not accepted at any grade
  • Current HPCL employees cannot apply for any lateral / experienced professional post
  • Government / PSU employees must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at interview stage
  • Registered email ID and mobile number must remain active for at least 1 year after application
  • All details submitted in the online form are final — no changes will be entertained after submission
  • Selected candidates must serve a mandatory 3-year service bond from date of joining

Fee must be paid online only — via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. After payment confirm the status reads "Your Transaction is Completed." If the status is not showing Completed, your application will not be accepted. Save and print the payment acknowledgement. Fee is strictly non-refundable.

Selection Process
1

Computer Based Test (CBT) — 3 May 2026 (Tentative)

All applicants must appear for the CBT. The exam is objective MCQ-based and covers Technical / Professional Knowledge (discipline-specific) and General Aptitude — English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation. Syllabus is hosted on the HPCL Careers page. HPCL reserves the right to reschedule the CBT date if required.

Document Upload & Scrutiny

Candidates shortlisted from CBT in order of merit and as per a predetermined ratio are asked to upload supporting documents for eligibility verification. Only candidates cleared at this stage are called for the next round.

Group Task (GT) and / or Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Task and/or Personal Interview depending on the post. Document verification is conducted before the Personal Interview. Candidates may also undergo Psychometric Assessments before or after this stage. Minimum qualifying marks are mandatory at each stage to proceed further in the selection process.

Final Selection & Medical Fitness Test

Final merit is based on overall performance across all applicable stages. Selected candidates must clear HPCL's pre-joining medical fitness examination as per company norms. The formal appointment letter is issued only after successfully clearing all stages including the medical test. Candidates join on probation for 1 year.

💡 HPCL follows Industrial DA (IDA) Pay Scales. In addition to basic pay, employees receive DA, HRA, medical benefits, LTC, and performance-related pay. Overall CTC ranges from approximately ₹10.88 LPA to ₹49.30 LPA by grade. The FTC Senior Cyber Security Strategist role offers approximately ₹50–60 LPA.

Log in and fill all personal, educational, and professional details accurately. Select your desired post carefully. All details submitted are treated as final — no corrections will be entertained after submission.

Upload Documents

Upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, age proof, educational certificates, category certificate (if applicable), and Aadhaar card in the specified format and size. Wrong or missing photo/signature results in automatic cancellation of candidature.

Pay Fee & Submit Before Deadline

Pay the application fee online (₹1,180 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS; Nil for SC/ST/PwBD). Confirm "Transaction Completed" status. Submit the form before 25 March 2026 at 11:59 PM. Download and print the final confirmation for your records.
