🎓 Educational & Technical Qualifications
Basic Eligibility (All Group 5 Posts)
Higher Secondary (10+2) with Biology, Chemistry and Physics AND a relevant Diploma from a recognized institution in the concerned subject. Higher qualifications (Degree) are also accepted. Minimum qualification varies by post — refer to Chapter 2 of the official Rule Book for post-specific requirements.
AYUSH Compounder Posts (Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani)
10+2 with Science AND diploma in Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani respectively from a recognized institution. These posts account for 175 out of 291 vacancies and are under the Directorate of AYUSH, MP.
Staff Nurse (ESIC Indore)
Pass in 10+2 (Science) AND GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution. Valid MP Nursing Council registration required.
Pharmacist Grade-2
Pass in 10+2 (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) AND Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or B.Pharm from a recognized institution. Valid MP Pharmacy Council registration required.
Lab Attendant / Dissection Hall Attendant
Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) with Biology, Chemistry and Physics. No diploma required for these basic attendant posts. Minimum qualification is 12th pass with Science subjects.
MP Para-Medical Council Registration
Most technical posts (Technician, Lab Technician, Dental Technician, Radiographic Technician, Technician Assistant, Technical Assistant, Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician) require live registration with MP Para-Medical Council (Sah-Chikitseey Parishad) at the time of application.
MP Domicile & Employment Registration
All candidates must have live registration in the MP State Employment Office (Rozgar Karyalaya). Reservation benefits apply only to MP permanent residents (Sthai Niwasi). Non-MP candidates can apply only for Unreserved/Open category posts and will not get any reservation or age relaxation benefit.
Aadhaar Mandatory
Aadhaar registration is compulsory for all applicants. Multi-level biometric verification is done at the exam centre during entry and throughout the exam. Aadhaar must be unlocked at the time of biometric verification. Candidates must bring Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar / Aadhaar number or VID.
⚠️ Key Eligibility Rules — Must Read
- Eligibility of candidates is entirely provisional during CBT. Document verification is done by the appointing department — not by MPESB.
- Candidates can indicate multiple post preferences with priority order. If found ineligible for preferred post, candidature for that post is cancelled but may be valid for other posts.
- A candidate with more than one living spouse, or who has more than 2 children born after 26 January 2001, is ineligible.
- Candidates currently employed in Central/State Govt. or PSUs must get prior permission from their appointing authority before appearing.
- Scheduled Tribe special communities — Baiga, Sahariya/Sahariya and Bhariya — must send hard-copy applications directly to the concerned department (not to MPESB) for non-executive posts only.

ℹ️ MP Online Portal Charges: Additional ₹60 via public/CSC service centre or ₹20 via Registered Citizen User login. Fee concession (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) applies only to bonafide MP residents. Candidates from other states pay General fee of ₹500. SC/ST/OBC candidates will get fee reimbursement from the appointing department after selection. Selection Criteria & Merit List
Results are announced based on Percentile Score. Final merit lists are prepared category-wise. For equal percentile: marks in written test decide rank; for equal marks: older candidate ranks higher. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for General/UR, 40% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD. Only candidates with the minimum qualifying marks are included in the eligible list. Wait-list of 15% of total selected candidates is maintained, valid for one year or until next exam result, whichever is earlier.
💡 Probation Period Pay: First year — 70% of minimum pay scale as stipend; Second year — 80%; Third year — 90%. Full pay scale starts after successful completion of probation.

Register with Aadhaar & Create Login
Aadhaar registration is mandatory. Register with your own mobile number and email address. Note down the system-generated Application Number. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.

Fill the Online Application Form
Enter personal details as per Class 10 certificate. Select the post(s) you wish to apply for and indicate your priority/preference order. You can indicate preferences for both department and post. Enter educational qualifications, MP domicile details, category, Rozgar Karyalaya registration number and Aadhaar details carefully.

- Mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, Bluetooth devices and sunglasses are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Candidates arriving after the reporting deadline will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances.
- No candidate is permitted to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
