Is there negative marking in the Agniveer CEE 2026?+
Yes — there is negative marking. The marking scheme for most Agniveer categories is: +2 marks for each correct answer (for GD) or +1 mark for each correct answer (other categories) and −0.5 marks for each wrong answer across all categories. Unanswered/skipped questions carry zero marks. Unlike YIL or some other exams, do not randomly guess in Army CEE — only attempt questions you are reasonably confident about. The −0.5 penalty can significantly affect your rank.
What is the eligibility for Agniveer GD 2026?+
For Agniveer GD (General Duty): (1) Age: 17.5–21 years — born between 1 July 2005 and 1 July 2009 (both inclusive); (2) Education: Class 10 pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks in 5 subjects, minimum 33% marks in each subject individually; (3) Height: Minimum 162 cm (158 cm for specified regional categories); (4) Nationality: Indian citizen (male). Female candidates are eligible for Women Military Police only.
What is the Seva Nidhi amount after completing 4 years as Agniveer?+
On successful completion of the 4-year Agniveer service tenure, candidates receive a one-time Seva Nidhi exit corpus of approximately ₹11.71 Lakh. This amount is completely tax-free under the Agnipath Scheme. The corpus is built through monthly contributions — the Agniveer contributes 30% of their monthly package, and the Government contributes an equal matching amount. The total corpus with interest is paid out at the end of service.
What documents must be carried to the Agniveer CEE exam centre?+
Mandatory documents for the CEE exam: (1) Colour printout of Agniveer Admit Card 2026 — A4 size, photograph and QR code clearly visible; (2) Original government-issued photo ID — Aadhaar Card (strongly preferred), PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport; (3) 2–4 passport-size photographs (same as in application); (4) Ball-point pen (blue/black). Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, books, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
Can female candidates apply for Indian Army Agniveer 2026?+
Yes — women are eligible for the Women Military Police (WMP) post under Agniveer recruitment. For WMP: Class 12 pass, age 17.5–21 years, height 152 cm minimum, weight in proportion. Female candidates are NOT eligible for Agniveer GD, Technical, Clerk, Tradesman, Nursing Assistant, or other male-category posts. The Agnipath Scheme opened Women Military Police as a specific female entry into the Indian Army.
What happens after the CEE — what is the Phase II Rally process?+
Candidates shortlisted from the CEE (based on category-wise merit) are called for the Phase II Recruitment Rally at designated rally sites across India. The rally includes: (1) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) — height, weight, chest expansion as per standards; (2) Physical Fitness Test (PFT) — 1.6 km run (Group I/II), pull-ups, long jump, high jump, zig-zag balance, 9-foot ditch; (3) Medical Examination — complete physical exam; (4) Document Verification — all original documents including 20 photos, certificates, domicile, caste, character certificates, police verification form, Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account details.
