Eligibility Criteria
- All qualifications must be full-time and from recognized institutions. Part-time / distance / correspondence / private study modes are not accepted for engineering posts.
- Only post-qualification executive experience is counted. Training periods within the experience are included.
- Candidates from other than CPSUs must meet minimum annual emoluments criteria (₹6 to ₹16 lakhs p.a. as per grade). Proof: Form-16 / 3 months pay slips / employer certificate.
- CGPA/GPI/letter grade must be converted to percentage using the university conversion norms — carry the conversion certificate to the interview.
- Degrees from foreign universities must have an AIU equivalency certificate.
- Only one application per candidate. Multiple applications will be rejected without fee refund.
- Candidates employed in Central/State Govt/PSUs must submit NOC from employer at time of interview and Relieving Order at time of joining.

How to Apply Online — Step by Step
Visit the MFL Official Website
Go to madrasfert.co.in and navigate to the Recruitment / Career section. Find the notification for MFL-P&A/001-2026. Read the full notification carefully before applying. The portal is open from 18 March 2026 to 5 April 2026.
Register & Open Application Link
Register with your active email ID and mobile number. Ensure the email ID will remain active for at least 2 years — all future communications will be sent only to this email. Mention your full name exactly as it appears on your Class 10 / SSC / Matriculation certificate or Passport.
Fill the Online Application
Select only one post you are applying for. Enter personal details, educational qualifications, work experience with dates, emoluments details, category details and declare any previous criminal/legal matters as required. Disclose if you are employed in any Government/PSU and obtain NOC before applying.
Upload Documents
Upload: recent passport-size photograph (plain background, both ears visible), scanned signature, and self-attested copies of qualification certificates, experience certificates, caste/community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD), age proof, emoluments proof (Form-16 or 3-month pay slips or employer certificate). OBC candidates must upload self-declaration for Non-Creamy Layer. SC/ST/OBC certificates issued in languages other than English/Hindi must be translated and self-certified.
Pay Application Fee
Pay ₹500 + GST via online electronic fund transfer. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/confirmed MFL employees are exempted — upload proof of exemption. Transaction charges are borne by the candidate. Retain the e-receipt. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
Submit & Save Application
Preview the application carefully — especially the photograph (must be clear and identifiable). Submit and download the confirmation. Note the system-generated application number. Keep at least 5 copies of the photograph used in the application. Do not submit hard copies — they are not required. Check madrasfert.co.in and your email regularly for interview dates and updates.
Documents Required
- Apply for only one post. Multiple applications are rejected and fee is not refunded.
- Once submitted, no change of address, mobile, category or post is allowed.
- Photographs must have a plain background with both ears clearly visible. Unclear or distorted photos cause rejection at any stage.
- Employees of MFL who were terminated, dismissed, took voluntary retirement or are under CRS are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates involved in criminal proceedings must declare details in the online application.
- All disputes are subject to courts within the jurisdiction of Chennai only.
