Do ASI posts have PET in SSB Medical Cadre 2026?
No — ASI posts do NOT have PET (Physical Efficiency Test). For ASI (Radiographer, Pharmacist, OT Technician, Dental Technician), the selection process starts directly from PST (Physical Standard Test) — measurement of height and chest. This is a key difference from HC and Constable posts which require PET first. After PST, ASI candidates appear for a 150-mark CBT (3 hours, 150 MCQ) with Part-I 50 marks (GK/Maths/Reasoning/English-Hindi) and Part-II 100 marks (Technical Subject). 💚
