As per the Jharkhand Medical Education Service (Recruitment, Promotion & Service Conditions) Rules 2021 (Second Amendment), vacancies are filled first from doctors serving in the Jharkhand State Health Service who meet NMC qualification standards. Only the remaining department-wise vacancies (after internal Health Service quota is filled) are then opened to direct recruitment under the 2018 service rules. Jharkhand Health Service cadre doctors must attach an NOC from their controlling authority (compulsory). If NOC is not yet issued, they must enter "Applied for NOC" in the online form and produce the original at document verification.

Visit jpsc.gov.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done. OTR creates a permanent JPSC profile. Read "How to Register for OTR" guide available on the website. Upload a clear, coloured passport-size photograph and signature in the OTR profile — if not uploaded in the designated fields, the application will be rejected. All details must be filled in BLOCK LETTERS in English (except signature). Name and father's name spelling must exactly match the Matriculate/Class X certificate.

Log in to your OTR account. Navigate to Advt. 07/2026 (JPSC Assistant Professor Medical 2026). Fill in: personal details, educational qualification details (MBBS marks from all 3 university exams, PG speciality degree marks, teaching experience, research publications), category, reservation claims, and government service experience. Date of birth must match Class X certificate. Any false or partial information leads to permanent disqualification. No changes are permitted after final submission.
Upload Documents via OTR Portal
Upload all required documents via OTR at the time of application: Class X certificate (age proof), MBBS degree + marksheets (all 3 university exams including failed), PG qualification (DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB) certificate & marksheets, Biomedical Research course certificate, Govt. experience certificate (from controlling authority level), journal publication copies with HOD certificate, caste/EWS/domicile/PwD certificates (where applicable), and NOC if applying as Jharkhand State Health Service doctor.
Pay Application Fee & Submit
Pay the fee — ₹600 + bank charges (UR/OBC/EWS) or ₹150 (SC/ST Jharkhand) or zero (PwD) — via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Wallet/Bharat QR/UPI through the jpsc.gov.in payment gateway. After successful payment, submit the application. Immediately after submitting, re-login and download the filled application from "Download Filled Application Section" on the dashboard. Print two copies and preserve the bank payment receipt.

Send the printed, self-signed application form along with self-attested copies of all documents by Registered Post / Speed Post or in person to: Controller of Examinations (In-charge), Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Sarkular Road, Ranchi – 834001.
